Charles Kaiman paints in the tradition of the American painters Edwin Dicksinson and Jean Liberté.  Kaiman studied with both of these masters at the Art Students League of New York.  Kaiman uses careful modulation of color-value and works directly from the motif in natural light.  He has exhibited nationally and internationally and his work is in multiple public and private collections. He now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and paints vivid landscapes and moonscapes of the Southwest, as well as still-life. This is his eighteenth one person show in New York City.
